To comment on a post:

  1. On the Personal menu, click Pulse.

  2. Navigate the Activity Feeds sidebar until you find a post to comment on. For information about filtering Activity Feeds, see To Filter the Activity Feed.

  3. At the end of the post that you want to comment on, click the Comment link.

  4. In the Comment box, enter your comment.

     

    Note

    Notes:

    • The top right corner of the Comment box shows the number of characters allowed in the post. As you add text, this value will decrease, showing the number of characters remaining.

    • To bring your post to the attention of a specific colleague, mention that user by name. For more information about mentions, see To Mention a User in a Post.

     
  5. Optional Click the Add Shortcut icon to attach a shortcut to a Content Server item or click the Add Document icon to attach a document from your computer.

  6. Optional Do one or more of the following:

    Click Add Shortcut .

    In the Attach Shortcut area, click Browse Content Server.

    In the Select Attachment Item window, navigate to the Content Server item and click Select.

    Attach a document from the local computer

    Click Add Document .

    In the Attach Document area, click Browse.

    c.

    In the Choose File to Upload window, navigate to the local document and click Open.

  7. Click Update.
